Oh the drama! Last night’s game between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs was the NBA at its best — two great teams battling to the last second — twice.
The Heat trailed through most of the game, but made an exciting late-game comeback. It was a team effort for the Heat, who erased a 5 point deficit with only 28 seconds left in the game. With just 5.1 seconds on the clock, the Heat hit a contested jumper from behind the arch to send the game into overtime.
Overtime came down to a last-second shot, too. The Spurs attempted a three pointer as the clock ran out, but the shot was blocked by the Heat. San Antonio fans wanted a foul. They didn’t get it. But NBA fans get what looks to be an exciting game 7!
The Heat will don their white basketball shorts and athletic tees one more time as they look to win it all at home in Miami. But the Spurs have proven they can win on the road. At Russell Athletic, we just can’t wait to watch. Let the best team win! Together We R.
